Wood Shop Classes Info
MANDATORY TBD Fall 2024 9-1pm - Wood tech, Woodshop safety and tool try out.
This 1st class is FREE and open to everyone regardless of enrollment!

TBD FALL, 2024 Five Saturdays in the shop from 9am – 1pm
$160 class fee + $30 supply fee (total $190) Limited to 10 benches.

class, name, email and tel #, and we will send you a form to fill out.

Learn Wood Working Basics or Sharpen Your Skills in a series of
six 4-hour Saturday Classes. All skill levels welcome. Benefit from
our experienced Instructors as they assist you in building a project
of your choice. Laupahoehoe Wood Shop is fully stocked with fine
wood working equipment and several lathes. Build anything from
a cutting board to a table or cabinet or finish your project from the
last class. The class provides the tools and guidance, you bring the
hardware and wood.
Find us at Laupahoehoe Community Public Charter School Wood Shop on Kahalani Homestead Rd. in Laupahoehoe, first left after main School entrance, through yellow
gate, park and go to the building on the driveway.
Our Story
We are a 501c3 created in 2011 to support Laupahoehoe Community Public Charter School and our local community. Inspired by our beautiful Campus and the success of our Weekend Wood Shop Classes, we realized we had the potential to bring even more to our Community. Along the way, we discovered how much talent and experience our Community had to share with us.

At Laupahoehoe Community Education Classes, our mission is to create a safe, communal space for our Community - including beginners, professionals, keiki and adults - to come together and express their creative sides and learn new skills. We offer a wide range of classes for all students. Whether you’re a professional looking for new inspiration, a brand new student hoping to learn a thing or two about art, cooking, or gardening or if you’re simply interested in picking up a new hobby, Laupahoehoe Community Education Classes is here to welcome you into the fold.
We are also accepting applications for Instructors to share their gifts with our Community.
